NBA: Duncan claims Spurs recordTim Duncan became the San Antonio Spurs' all-time highest scorer in their 94-82 win at the Utah Jazz.
The veteran centre needed 13 points to reach the legendary David Robinson's mark of 20,790 and achieved it from the free-throw line in the third quarter on his way to 19 points and 14 rebounds.
The win also ensured the Spurs maintained their equal league-best 10-1 win-loss record alongside Southwest rivals the New Orleans Hornets, who beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-101.

David West scored a season-high 34 points to ensure a seventh home win in as many games for the Hornets.
The Los Angeles Lakers improved to 11-2 with a 112-95 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Matt Barnes had the hot hand off the bench as he contributed 24 points on a perfect night of shooting, including five-of-five from beyond the arc.
LeBron James poured in 32 points as the Miami Heat held off the Charlotte Bobcats 95-87 after they had wasted a 21-point second quarter lead.
Dwyane Wade took his place despite suffering from flu, adding 11 points, but while he was not at his best James and Chris Bosh (22 points, 14 rebounds) did enough.
There was a first home loss for the Boston Celtics as they crashed 89-84 to the Oklahoma City Thunder on the back of 31 points from Russell Westbrook.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 36 points but it was not enough as the Chicago Bulls rallied from a 12-points deficit during the third period to beat the Dallas Mavericks 88-83.
Thaddeus Young had a season-high 23 points as the Philadelphia 76ers ended a five-game losing run 90-79 over the Milwaukee Bucks while the Sacramento King snapped their six-game losing spin 86-81 against the New Jersey Nets.
The Memphis Grizzlies lost for the sixth straight game 89-86 at the Washington Wizards while the Toronto Raptors won consecutive games for the first time this season 106-96 over the Houston Rockets.
The New York Knicks won the late game in a 125-119 upset at the Golden State
