Barcelona 1-1 FC Copenhagen

European giants Barcelona were unable to find a winner against FC Copenhagen last night as Pep Guardiola’s side drew 1-1.
Lionel Messi fired them into a 31st minute lead but Barca were immediately pegged back as Claudemir equalised within 60 seconds.
The victory would have guaranteed Barca a spot in the last 16 but Messi and co. will have to wait following the Danes’ determined display.
Pedro struck the face of the post late on but tempers boiled over at the final whistle as managers Guardiola and Ståle Solbakken had to be separated following an angry confrontation.

At White Hart Lane, Tottenham pulled off the result of the night, and probably the tournament so far, with a stunning 3-1 victory over Champions League holders Inter.
Gareth Bale was in sensational form, setting two goals up and manager Harry Redknapp was full of his praise for his Welsh wizard.
Redknapp said: “We played unbelievable. The whole team, just an amazing performance. It was a night to remember.
“Gareth’s amazing how he can run and run and run. What he’s done to him (Maicon) over two games is just incredible.
“He’s got great ability, to run, to cross, shoot and dribble. He’s got everything really.”
