Tevez: I could quit football tomorrowManchester City striker Carlos Tevez has said he is sick of life as a footballer and is ready to quit football anytime.
The Argentinean was again embroiled in the dressing room bust-up with manager Roberto Mancini and is beginning to be disillusioned with life as a professional footballer.
Though not the first mention of quitting from the striker, the latest one could prove pivotal in his decision to finally hang up his boots once and for all - despite displaying none of such intention with some strong performances in the all of City's seven games so far this season.

But Tevez, though only 26, has revealed he is already feeling the effects of the game and has doubts whether his body can withstand any further.
"I have been playing many games this season, and my body is feeling it. I am tired." he told The News of the World.
"I started to play when I was really young and I have always fought so much but now I'm feeling the effort.
"I'm an old guy now, and I started to think about some stuff. For example, I am less tolerant as a person today than I was a few years ago.
"Then I think - what happens if I quit football as long as I am okay in my life?
"When I talk about quitting, I mean quitting football, not just the national team.
When asked if he has penned down an official date for retirement, the Tevez revealed he could quit as early as the next morning.
"At the moment I still don't know if this is going to be in one month, one year, three or five years.
"I have the idea of quitting in my mind.
"Maybe one of these days, I will just wake up and say no more football."
Besides his bodily health, his family life has also been compromised by the demands of his footballing career and the striker is ready to make amends.
He added: "My family but also my body are starting to feel the effort.
"I have worked and fought so hard, and I would love to enjoy my football.
"I have been playing in England for five years, and I have not spent a single Christmas nor New Year with my family.
"Let me tell you I am not enjoying the life of a footballer."
Tevez has been known for his wholehearted performances on the pitch, which has saw him endeared himself to the Old Trafford faithful despite not getting enough first-team action, leading him to join City.
