Becker boost for British tennis? The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) will turn to Wimbledon legend Boris Becker in a bid to revive British men's tennis.
The six-time Grand Slam champion has been reported by Sportsmail as having already held informal talks with the LTA about the possibility of taking a prominent role in developing new talent.
The report claims that Becker, who has been practising this week at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton with 17-year-old prospect George Morgan, is keen on the part-time role of men's head coach - vacated by American Paul Annacone.

Annacone, in somewhat sensational circumstances, left the LTA to work with Roger Federer midway through this year's US Open to avoid a possible conflict of interest after it looked likely that the Swiss ace might meet Britain's Andy Murray at some point in the tournament.
Fred Perry was the last British tennis player to win a Grand Slam men's singles event when he took the US Open crown back in 1936.
