Europa League Thursday ReviewLiverpool secured top spot in Group K of the Europa League with a 1-1 draw against Steaua Bucharest in Romania.
Milan Jovanovic's first-half header was cancelled out when the Reds captain goalkeeper Jose Reina allowed Eder Bonfim's effort to escape his grasp and creep over the line.
The point would have been enough to put the visitors through, but the 3-3 draw between FC Utrecht and Napoli means they cannot be caught at the top of the table.

Mauricio Pinilla briefly put the home side back in front with a 59th-minute penalty, but Juraj Kucka's header four minutes later put Sparta through.
Giuseppe Rossi struck twice and set up a third as Villarreal progressed through to the knockout stages from Group D with a deserved 3-0 victory over in-form Dinamo Zagreb at El Madrigal while PAOK Salonika need just a point from their final fixture to advance after a 1-1 draw with Club Brugge.
BATE Borisov were thrashed 4-1 by managerless Dynamo Kiev as the Ukrainian side moved above their hosts to go top of Group E.
Ognjen Vukojevic got the ball rolling for the visitors and Andriy Yarmolenko doubled the lead two minutes from half-time, while Oleg Gusev and Artem Milevskiy added to the tally after the interval. Pavel Nekhaychik hit back late on.
The other game in the group saw FC Sheriff and AZ Alkmaar play out a 1-1 draw.
